How to use

Fetch Settings


Limits how many PMC full-text lookups are done per scientist.

When enabled, papers with no data availability in PubMed XML will be looked up in PubMed Central. Only works for open-access articles.


What it does: Powers the AI to read abstract contexts.
How to get a key:
  1. Log in to the Anthropic Console
  2. Go to Settings > API Keys, click 'Create Key', and paste it above.
What it does: Fetches publications from PubMed. A key verifies your identity and boosts your fetch speed limit from 3 to 10 requests per second (over 3x faster).
How to get a key:
  1. Log in to NCBI using a 3rd-party account (Google, university, etc.).
  2. Click your username (top right) to go to Account Settings.
  3. Scroll to 'API Key Management', click 'Create an API Key', and paste it above.

Claude Haiku is used for classification.
